Welcome to the Poised Pen Website

Finding the Loaf

So the Poised Pen Awards night and general celebrations upstairs at the Fly in the Loaf is just a few days away. Most of you will know how to get there. But in case some of you don't here is a wee map showing directions from Lime Street Station and Central Station.

The Fly is on Hardman Street (which starts as Leece Street at the bottom of the hill by St Luke's aka the Bombed Out Church). It is half way up the hill between St Luke's and the Philharmonic (hall and pub). If you are going up the hill it is on the left hand side and you really can't miss it.

It's about a ten minute walk from Lime Street: Turn left out of Lime Street. Follow Lime Street, past the Vines pub (the 'Big House') and the Adelphi. Follow the road straight ahead, which is now Renshaw Street. At the traffic lights you will be opposite the Bombed Out Church/St Luke's. Turn left up the hill onto Leece Street. Pass the traffic lights (it becomes Hardman St) and the Fly is about 50 metres up on the left.
Easy.
