Robert Edge

After years in the wilderness battling dyslexia and an unsustainable relationship I have returned to education and the magic that is the pen, which is actually a metaphor for Microsoft Word. I am currently studying a degree in English and Creative Writing at Edge Hill University. In the past I have written two plays ‘Art?’ and ‘The Fairly good Samaritan’ the second of which I am developing into a novel. Both were produced and performed at the Unity theatre Liverpool in the mid to late 90’s. Since going back to school I have begun to write poetry which has surprising no one more than myself giving me a voice to describe the ups and downs of my life so far. Joining the poised pen group has spurred my writing on, particularly whilst being away from study over the summer.
